This week, we have two exciting new stuff to check out:
First, is our Survey 101. The question (rephrased), is: "Among the artists whose name has a numeral, which is your favorite?"
So please just take a few moments to answer the survey, and find out soon if your choice will be one of the top answers. Please note that your name and email address are required for your vote to be considered (to prevent bulk voting by one person; only the first vote will be counted per individual). One other thing is that the answer should be valid. Artists which qualify are only those whose OFFICIAL name is or has a number (in figure or in words).
For instance, if, there's a band called "The 3 Musketeers" or "7 Dwarfs" and they have released a song, you can vote for them. Otherwise, you may have sent your answers so many times but they will still not be counted. That is, if you vote for Michael Jackson (even if he is the King of Pop, or even when you change the spelling to Michael Jacks1), or any other artist without a number on their name, your vote will be invalid. Vote wisely!
Second, is the CC[P] Trendsetters. This is a new addition to the roster of charts posted on this blog. It is an alternative to the Voters Hitlist (VHL). While the VHL ranks the entries based on the total number of votes, Trendsetters ranks the entries based on the Trendsetters Index (TI), or the computed total points of an entry each week. Put simply: if an entry's total votes increases, it gains points; if an entry's total votes decreases, it loses points. The Top 10 entries with the most points per week then appear on the CC[P] Trendsetters. The Trendsetters would be faster-paced as it would require songs to continuously set the trend and increase its total votes to stay longer on the chart.
In summary: VHL for the most-voted entries of the week; Trendsetters for the top songs gaining popularity.
