Kyla continues her reign on this week's Pop Express! Keeping her afloat is her "Salbabida," which now spends its second consecutive week at #1. Threatening to take over though is Marianas Trench, whose song "Pop 101" inches closer to the top at #2. Dello and Jaq Dionisio lead the newcomers this week, with a Top 10 debut of their collaboration "Araw-Araw."

Pop Express: Kyla Takes #1 Spot with 'Salbabida'

It was a battle of songwriting entries on this week's Pop Express, and ultimately, Kyla's "Salbabida" from Philpop 2014 emerges at #1. It ousts Tony Alfonso and Kaye Dinauto's "Intergalactic Gugma" from Vispop 2.0, which falls to #3 after only a week on top. Making a big leap to #4 is Marianas Trench, up five with "Pop 101." And Kyla not only secures the top spot, she also has the highest-charting new entry of the week with "Dito na Lang" at #15.

Owl City and Lindsey Stirling have been dethroned, and another collaboration has taken over this week's Pop Express. Tony Alfonso and Kaye Dinauto's "Intergalactic Gugma" now reigns supreme on the chart, while Kyla's "Salbabida" takes her all the way to #3. Educating us with pop music basics is Canadian rock band Marianas Trench; their song "Pop 101" is the highest new entry at #9.
